Ted Shipley, head coach of the Castleton University baseball team, and his staff will be offering two separate baseball development programs focused on player improvement using the most up-to-date training methods.
The first program offered is the four-week fall baseball program. This program will be offered on Sunday evenings at Castleton University beginning on Nov. 12 and concluding four weeks later on Dec. 4. The weekly sessions will have two options: pitching-intensive and hitting-intensive. Each session will be 90 minutes in length and be held on four consecutive Sundays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for pitching and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for hitting.
The second program offered is the popular Sunday evening winter baseball program that will begin Jan. 14, 2018, and go for eight consecutive Sundays, concluding March 4, 2018. The Sunday evening winter baseball program will also be held at Castleton University from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This program will encompass all aspects of the game and be centered on skill improvement.
Enrollment for each program is limited to 24 participants ages 10-18.
