Spartan Baseball Announces Upcoming Camps and Clinics

CASTLETON, Vt. - Castleton University Head Baseball Coach Ted Shipley is pleased to announce the 2018 baseball camps to be offered at Castleton this summer. Coach Shipley will be offering four separate baseball camps for boys and girls ages 7-17. All camps will be held at Castleton University.

The first camp will be the Spartan pitching and hitting clinic on Sunday, May 13. This one-day camp will focus specifically on pitching and hitting. The pitching clinic will be from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m, while the hitting clinic will be from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This camp is for boys and girls ages 7-17 only.

The second camp is the Baseball "Day" Camp Wednesday, June 20 – Friday, June 22. This camp has been shortened to three afternoons of baseball instruction (because of make-up school days) with the main focus on hitting. This program is for boys and girls ages 7-15 only. 

The third camp is the popular Spartans Baseball "Game" Camp Monday, June 25 – Thursday, June 28. In addition to baseball game play, this camp includes lunch and swimming and is for boys and girls ages 7-13 only.

The fourth and final camp of the summer is the Advanced Overnight Baseball Camp for boys ages 9 – 18. This camp will be held at the University Sunday, August 5 – Thursday, August 9.
