Castleton, Vt. – Following a pair of dominating performances, senior forward Rachel Preusser was honored as the North Atlantic Conference Player of Week.
Preusser propelled the Spartans to their second perfect mark within the NAC in the last three years with a pair of wins last week. Against New England College Preusser had a hand in five of Castleton's six goals, dishing off two assists and scoring her second hat trick of the season. Facing a tough Husson squad on Saturday, the senior scored the Spartans' first three goals to propel them to the 6-0 win.
Preusser currently leads the NAC in points (66), goals (22) and assists (22). This marks the second time she has been named NAC Player of the Week this year. She one of three Spartans who have earned the honor this year, along with Blake Wardwell and Kristy Pinkham.
