    Led by a pair of goals off of the stick of Sarah Wells, the Castleton University field hockey team defeated North Atlantic Conference-opponent Thomas College 4-1 on Saturday evening. The Spartans have now won three in a row and improve to 8-6 overall while moving to 2-1 in the league. Thomas falls to 1-9 and 0-3 in conference action.Kick-starting the Castleton offense just four minutes into the game, Wells notched the first of her scores. The junior co-captain put back a shot, which ricocheted off of the goalie’s pads.
