Cameron Earns D3hockey.com First Team All-America Honors

CASTLETON, Vt. – After being named to the D3hockey.com All-East Region First Team last week, Castleton women's hockey goaltender Jess Cameron has been named D3hockey.com First Team All-America, as announced on Thursday afternoon.

Cameron had a career year for the women's hockey team in leading her team into the national rankings for the first time in program history. The goalie was an AHCA second-team All-America selection and the New England Hockey Conference Goaltender of the Year, as well as First-Team All-Conference selection.  She helped the team rank as high as No. 6 in the nation and finished the season ranked fifth in save percentage (.947) and second in saves (824). She became the first goalie in NCAA DIII history to make 800 saves and post a save percentage of at least .945 in one season.
