Kleinendorst begins her first season with the women’s hockey program after graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2013. She was a four-year member of the UNH women’s hockey team and following the 2012-13 season was awarded the team’s Unsung Hero Award. She also played two years of women’s lacrosse at New Hampshire.
Kleinendorst comes from hockey family including her father Kurt, who has spent more than 20 years as a coach at various levels of collegiate and professional hockey. He is currently the head coach of the Iowa Wild, the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild.
Kleinendorst is currently pursing her Master of Arts in Education at Castleton.
