Women’s Nordic Ski Team in Competition at Divisional Championships

BENNINGTON, Vt. – All five members of the Castleton women's Nordic ski team finished in the top 30 Saturday as the first day of the ECSC Mansfield Divisional Championships took place at Prospect Mountain.

Megan Greene was the top Castleton finisher, posting a time of 36:49 to end up in sixth place in the overall individual standings, just seven seconds outside the top five. Emily Cromie finished in 14th place with a time of 41:38.

Adrienne Toof ended up just one second outside the top 20, completing the course in 43:36 to finish in 21st place. Carley Patch finished in 25th place with a time of 44:03, just ahead of Hahnah Saroff in 27th place with a mark of 45:33.

Once again, Clarkson University finished 1-2 in the event, with Ana Witkowski finishing first in 34:54, just four seconds in front of teammate Sarah Duclos in 34:58.

With the forecast of a strong winter storm entering New England Sunday, Feb. 12, the start time of the five-kilometer classic has been moved up to 8:45 a.m.
