Rutland, Vt. - The Castleton men's tennis team dropped its 2012 spring opener to Norwich by the score of 8-1 on Saturday, March 3 at Grand Slam Tennis Complex in Rutland.
The Spartans earned their lone point at the third doubles flight where Matt Trombly (Rutland, Vt.) and Mike Divis (Rutland, Vt.) combined to win 8-4.
Castleton will return to action Saturday March 17 against North Atlantic Conference foe Colby-Sawyer College at Grand Slam Tennis Complex.
