Rutland, Vt. - The Spartans men's tennis team took down Lyndon St. in a 6-3 win on Saturday at Grand Slam Tennis Complex in Rutland.
The Spartans received wins from their first doubles and third doubles teams. Stew Quinn and Adam McCaffery earned a victory in the top flight, while Corey Kimball and Mike Divis teamed for the win in the third flight.
In singles, Castleton took four out of six available points, including a 6-1, 6-1 win from Matt Trombly at third singles.
The victory evened the Spartans overall record to 6-6, and their NAC record, improving it to 2-2. Castleton will look to extend their three-match win streak when they travel to face Johnson St. on April 18.
