Men’s Tennis Earns 7-2 win over Lyndon St.

St. Albans, Vt. – The Spartans won their fourth straight match, taking down Lyndon St. 7-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Collins-Perley Sports Complex in St. Albans, Vt.

Castleton opened by taking two of three doubles matches, getting a win from Adam McCaffery and Mike Glasser at the No. 1 spot, 8-1 as well as Corey Kimball and Mike Divis at No. 3, 8-3. 

In singles, Sam Levine and Mike Glasser won in straight sets at the top of the lineup, with Levine taking No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-4 and Glasser going 6-4, 6-0 at No. 2. McCaffery also pulled off a dominant win at No. 3 singles, winning his match 6-0, 6-3. 

Castleton improves to 8-2 with the win and return to action non Sunday against Southern Maine at 12 pm.
