For the season, she is now averaging 11.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, one assist, and 1.2 steals per game to help Castleton improve to 13-8 overall and 11-3 within the NAC.

Last Tuesday at Colby-Sawyer, Beatty scored 16 points and pulled down five rebounds as Castleton completed the season sweep of the Chargers. Saturday against Maine-Farmington, Beatty hit 10-of-14 shots from the field and 5-of-7 attempts from the free throw line for a career-high 25 points, plus she grabbed six rebounds in the Spartans' 65-29 win over the Beavers. For the week, Beatty shot 64.9 percent (24-of-37) from the field to move up into second place in the conference in field goal percentage at 48.7 percent for the season.

This is the first conference weekly award in Beatty's collegiate career and the second one earned by a Spartan women's basketball player this season.
